I wish you enough

I was cleaning out my desk today and to my shock (and possibly awe) I saw this piece of paper that contained the following poem. It was given to me (us) during our last week of class in U.S. Government. I thought I would post it here as a keepsake so that I can clear out my desk of clutter (plus the paper it was written on is getting worn out). Please to enjoy what a teacher of mine wrote (allegedly).

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.

I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life

Appear much bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough failure, so that you may appreciate

Success.

I wish you enough "Hello’s” to get you through the final

Good-Bye”.
